Spring is on the way! (Thank goodness!)

Photobucket

So, I've decided to join in on all the fun!! Lynette is hosting a "Thoughts of Spring Blog Party" and it looks like a ton of fun!

Soo here it goes!

How would people describe your personality? (If they could only use ONE word.) Are they right?
Well, my mother says "special". I suppose that's true...in a sarcastic AND non-sarcastic way ;D And my friend Alyssa says "calm". Also true.

What celebrity/celebrities would create a “Star-Struck” feeling if you saw them in real life?
Oh my goodness. Matthew Gray Gubler, for sure. Or Jared Padalecki. Or Max Lucado. Now, that'd be wicked sweet, though I imagine he'd be pretty darn normal.

What is your comfort food/drink?
Pickles. That's actually all I can think of...I don't really have comfort foods. :/

Be brave – tell us something very random and weird about yourself.
The Wizard of Oz pretty much terrifies me. Like, anytime I watch it, any part of it, I get this awful sick-to-my-stomach feeling...It's pretty traumatizing.

Do you have a strong desire to do something you’ve never done? What is it?
Yes!! Go to Ireland.

Movies: Action, Drama, Romantic Comedy, Documentary, Comedy? What are your favorite genres?
A little bit of each, really.

Books: Fiction, Non-Fiction, Romance, Biographies, True Stories, Self-Help, Devotional/Study? What are your favorite types of reading material?
Lately, I've been reading a whole lot of non-fiction, sort of "self-help", devotional/study type stuff. I feel I get a bit more out of those types of books ;)

Music: Funk, Rock, Country, Jazz, Classical, Film Score, Blues, Classic Rock, Crooner, Alternative, Heavy Metal, Techno? What are your favorite types?
A little bit of classical here and there, but mostly anything Christian! Anything K-Love plays ;)

If you inherited a million dollars, what is the first thing you would do with your money?
Buy every Disney movie that's on DVD. Pay off my family's bills. Totally do the thing where you go to a restaurant, or a Starbucks or something, and pay for the people behind you in line without them knowing. So sneaky, yet so awesome. I'd totally do something like that every day.

Name one weakness of yours (confession is good for the soul).
Books. I have a book buying problem. At this point, I have enough unread books to last me quite a while!

If you could live anywhere at all (and take all your loved ones with you), where would
you go?
Somewhere nice and calm and peaceful and pretty :D

What is one of your favorite things to catch a whiff of?
Mmmm anything coconut-scented :D Especially this time of year; it reminds me of summer :)

When you leave a social gathering, do you wish: You would have talked more or You would have talked less?
Depends. Some social gatherings (like where I know everyone), I talk a pretty much perfect amount, and I'm fine with it. Other social gatherings, where I don't know anyone, I'll hardly talk at all, and for whatever reason, I'm also fine with that :P

What is your greatest fear or strange phobia?
Spiders. *shudder* Though I suppose that's not really strange...(and yes, I realize that that's not a spider in this picture, but it's funny. Hehehehee)

What are your favorite animals?
Raccoons!!!

Are you a hopeless romantic?
To an extent. But I'd say I'm more of a "hopeful romantic" ;)

So fun!! :D

  7. First of all: IRELAND!!!! Can I come with you?
Second of all: everyone should have a never ending supply of books, especially the kind yet to be read.
Third of all: "hopeful romantic" may just be my new favorite term. I love it. *melty sigh*
