Dolphins, and shelties, and Leo, oh my!

It's Friday night. I'm 18 years old. What am I supposed to be doing? Isn't it like, partying, hanging out with all my homies, yadda yadda?
Oh puhlease.

Tonight began with me babysitting my little siblings, and watching Flipper with them; the one with Elijah Wood??? I'm pretty sure they were completely confused by my squeals of "Awwwww he's so cute!", considering they obviously don't yet understand that hellooo, this is Frodo Baggins! At an adorable, teenage-boy-voice age!! Eeep! So cute.

Then we went outside and watched the dogs frolic around in the (warm) green grass...

Then, since the kiddos were begging Dad for McDonald's for dinner, we had McDonald's, which I haven't had in forever. And in all honesty, it actually really does taste better if you wait a couple months between your times eating there ;)
(But now, that picture's actually making me nauseous...so I think I'll wait a while till I eat there again!)

So now, I shall proceed to go jump into my bed, cuddle up with Seth, my stuffed wolf (who is also my movie watching pal; pffft so what if I'm a technical "adult"??), and watch Titanic for the first time in a long time, all the while wishing I had some ice cream (who doesn't?) and of course, spilling a few tears here and there (it's who I am).

OH and on a side note, I just wanted to tell you: while working at a bookstore would seem like a beautiful thing for a book lover...well, it is. Except that I've already got a pile of books that comes up at least to my knees, if not past them. Plus, I totaled them all up today, and it all comes out to about *cough* 80 dollars *cough* with my discount *cough*. BUT there are a TON of books included in that!! At least 22 of them! But alas, that'll be a good chunk of my paycheck...so I'm thinking I'm not going to be buying them all at once ;) But the only problem with that is that I bet that as I buy, I'll simply replace what I just bought with even more books...ay ay ay. Do you see my dilemma? It's rough.
(but I have to say...it's positively wonderful to be constantly surrounded by the smell of books again) ;)

Okay. I'mma go have my cozy Friday night now. Night ya'll. :D

  4. I haven't seen that movie, is it any good?

And 'partying' is NOT all it's cracked up to be. I like your version of fun.

Working in a bookstore would be heavenly....except for all the deductions they'd have to make for my book purchases....yeah.

And, for the record, I'm way older...and I have a basket full of stuffed animals :)

    Have a great weekend!
