Let me guess, you saw that title and hopped with joy, eh? ;)
Well, I'm not here to lecture you again. But I am going to share a link with you to my pastor's blog, a man whose opinion I greatly respect, and in this case (most cases, really), absolutely agree with.
I contacted him after seeing post after post on Facebook from people within my church talking about their fascination, their love, their excitement for The Hunger Games...it seemed (and still sometimes does) that I was the only person in the world who saw this series as I do. Well, I'm glad to say that I'm not.
Anyways. Give it a look, see what he has to say...it's worth your time.
There are three segments to his thoughts on the series:
And guys, while I'm sure he doesn't mind comments? Don't like, bombard him or anything. ;)
well here's another. i'm sorry, but i just don't find kids killing each other appealing, or God-honoring. my apologies hunger games fanatics.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about everyone talking/posting about The Hunger Games...the kids in my school are pretty crazy over it and honestly, I'm just glad I'm not crazy over them...I have better things to do! :) And besides, I didn't really get the whole point of the books/movie...granted, I haven't read/seen them but it didn't sound thaaaat great...
ReplyDeleteP.S. Just because Liam Hemsworth is in it doesn't mean I have to watch it, right? :) jk lol
ReplyDeletep.s. TIM TEBOW'S GONNA BE LESS THAN AN HOUR AWAY FROM ME AT THE END OF APRIL!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBasically, don't harrass him, huh? :)
ReplyDeleteI get to go see that movie tonight! My friends, sister and I are meeting up to go see that (paciently waited to see movie)!
